Once again it will be held at Twin Streams Campground, in Beautiful Tioga County, very close proximity to the breathtaking PA Grand Canyon!

Featured this year as always are our Sled Dog Drag races! This is a great opportunity for people and dogs interested in mushing to try it out safely! Equipment, harnesses, and helpful mushers will be on hand!

Detailed Schedule of Events

When: Friday, August 4, 2017 at 1:00 PM EDT to Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 1:00 PM EDT

Friday 8/4
Registration Camp site decorating - Prized awarded to best decorated (voted on by other campers)

5pm - Social (meet & greet) - dining hall area - bring your own beverages / snacks 7:30 - Board meeting ( location to be announced)

Saturday 8/5
7 - 8:30 am - Breakfast - dining hall - $5.00 per person - reservations suggested - Breakfast casserole (eggs, veggies, ham) toast, English muffins, coffee & Orange Juice (Under 3 free) (plain eggs/sausage available upon prior request)

8:00 - 9:30 - Calcutta - dining hall - This is an opportunity to Bid, on your favorite team and possibly win some money! The team and driver is announced, the bidding begins and when the bidding is closed, a handicap is drawn (1-5 seconds). This number is then subtracted from the drivers time! Money is given to the winning bidders in each category. All monies must be paid before start of Race.

10:00 - Drag Race - with bikes, scooters, gigs or runners (canicross) - pulled by sled dogs of various breeds - free (dog trucks can be brought and parked near the store)

12:00 - 1:00 Lunch - on your own - Walk around, meet the "mushers" see racing equipment, training, breeds, questions / answers.

All day - Silent auction items out for bidding (bidding closes at 7: 00 pm) Camp site judging

1:00 PM - Square dancing with Square dance group - in dinning hall

4:00 pm - Round table discussion - need some questions answered, just want to learn how other mushers have done things, have suggestions that worked for you? 

6:00 pm - Camp site judging ends. Please put all vote in "voting Box" in dining hall

6:00 pm - Community Dinner - dining hall - ½ grilled chicken (cooked on the chickenator by Rich Stanitis) & corn on the cob platter $8 (reservations required) Bring a dish/ dessert to share as well as serving utensil. Provide your own beverages. Plates and utensils will be available. All welcome to join covered dish dinner, but must have reservations for chicken/corn platter. (After dinner, please take you dish / serving utensil, otherwise it will be thrown out.)

7 pm - Silent auction closes, awards, and thanks.

8:30 pm - Community Campfire / sing along with Mike & Ray, musher stories... - all welcome. Location to be announced

Sunday 8/6
8 - 9:30 - Breakfast - dining hall - $5.00 per person - Reservations suggested - Muffins/ bagels and various crème cheeses, smoked salmon, yogurt and fruit
