2014 Fair Hill Challenge has been Cancelled

Unfortunately, due to the past two days of rain, the sloppy, wet, muddy conditions of the trail, and the cloudy, windless forecast of the next two days, we have to sadly cancel the Fair Hill Challenge this year. We appreciate the continued support of those who have worked so hard on this race. 

Pennsylvania Sled Dog Club presents a 2-Day event in the Fair Hill State Area.

Come watch amazing sled dogs races, shop at vendors, and meet real mushers at the main park entrance. There is no entry charge to watch. Starts 9 AM. Finished when racing is complete.

Classes:  

• Canicross 1.25 miles
• 2-3 dog Juniors 1.25 miles
• 1 dog Scooter (Pro and Sportsman) 4.0 miles (Sportsman can opt for 2.5 miles- ditto below)
• 2 dog Scooter (Pro and Sportsman) 4.0 miles
• 1 dog Bike-Jor (Pro, and Sportsman) 4.0 miles 
• 2 dog Bike-Jor (Pro, and Sportsman) 4.0 miles 
• 4 dog gig (Pro, Purebred, and Sportsman) 4.0 miles
• 6 dog gig (Pro, Purebred, and Sportsman) 4.0 miles

The first 25 registered will receive a T-Shirt

Dinner
Saturday night and Silent Auction 6 PM - 10 PM
Wesley's Restaurant 3700 Telegraph Rd, Elkton, MD (Dinner Details)  

On the menu is roast beef, chicken cordon bleu, hearty pasta salad, bread, and a fully stocked soup (4) and salad bar.  There will be a cash bar serving soda, coffee, tea, and alcohol.  We will also have a silent auction table to bid on goodies!   Please bring a gently used or new item to donate!   Come enjoy true Fair Hill dining at Wesley’s Restaurant, a true pillar in the Fair Hill Community.

Northern Exposure Siberian Husky Rescue will also be there with some nice items to purchase.
